SCIENCE CENTRE FUNDRAISING BROCHURE: A traditional British public school, dating back o the 17th Century, sought funding for a state-of-the art Science Centre building.

The design uses periodic table symbols forming the word Charterhouse, set against a diffusion
experiment background. The contemporary creative was created as a reflection of the modernity of the
proposed new building versus the historic architecture of the main school building.

MADAME TUSSAUD FREEHOLD SALES PRESENTATION PACK: Consisting of a sales brochure, video player, headphones and a sample character from the video (detailing the history of the building and world renowned occupant) all elements were fully bespoke using a variety of suppliers and print techniques.

The Madame Tussaud plaque, which is a feature on the exterior of the building, was photographed and then using 3D software an embossing die was created.

The plaque was then embossed using matt gold foil across all the components of the sales pack. A light ‘dusting’ of black print was further used to add visual depth to the end result.

Forbidden City:

EUROPEAN PRODUCT AND BRAND LAUNCH BROCHURE: Based in Shanghai, China, Forbidden City sought a premium positioning for it’s brand and products.

To fully reflect the quality of the product and the craftsmanship in the making of it’s furniture pieces, the brochure was produced as a hardback hand threaded bound book, with a silk varnished dust jacket completed with a hand made Chinese lucky knot which was further detailed with a wooden bead made from huanghuali wood, a traditional material used in Chinese cabinet making.

CHRISTMAS MAIL ORDER BROCHURE: Designed by JKR, Molton Brown’s annual Christmas gift box packaging was consistently visually bold, creative and... in total keeping of the ‘spirit of the season’ joyous to look at and touch, and even better receive! Hand finished with branded ribbon and bow.

With a nod to childhood memories, from a ‘bygone’ era - paper chains - a montage of square cut front
elevation images of the variant colour boxes was created, joined together by ribbon bows.

2013 > 2018 BUSINESS PLAN BROCHURE: A split 8 creates both the 3 of 13 and 8 of 18, a ‘hand painted’ border representing, the organisations district boundary.

The circular theme of the split 8 is further featured throughout the brochure by the selection of member brands products, featuring circular design elements.

PRODUCT POS STRUT CARDS: On the final lap of a Formula 1 race, the Grand Marshal sticks out and waves a chequered flag to indicate the end of the race and the winning driver.

Using that image as a direct reference, the POS strut cards were designed with the brand logo protruding out.
